Early Life

Michelle Grandy was born in the heart of Washington, D.C. and raised by her hardworking Grandmother, Gussie. Her grandmother worked several jobs but when she was present, she was always cooking.  Food was love for Michelle and so she grew up with a love of food.  Her Grandmother passed while Michelle was in her first semester of freshman year.  She earned her college degree from Washington Adventist University and set out on a corporate career path before graduation.

Career Life

Michelle’s outgoing and vibrant personality made her well-suited to sales. She was a corporate executive with a well recognized DC Law Firm and later a nationally recognized bank for over two decades.  Her career enabled her to travel all over the world, meet interesting people, experience cultures, and live fully.

Family Life

Michelle is married to her husband of 27 years. Together, they have lived in Washington, DC, Roswell, GA, Fayetteville, New York, and Bluffton, SC. number of cities as her husband’s career advanced.  Her boys are now fully mature with one in a senior in high school, one attending Georgetown University and one living in Phoeniz, AZ and she has two grandchildren.  Her true joy is spending time with her loved ones, on vacations, adventures and traveling.

Vegan Life

Michelle was inspired by a book that Oprah had recommended about veganism.  On a plane from the east coast to LA, she read the book veraciously, start to finish, and was convinced that she should take it up – right there and then!  She became a vegan instantly and was a practicing vegan for 14 years.  Growing up with asthma and being on medications, she was sure of the health benefits of being vegan when her asthma disappeared and she no longer needed medication.  She learned to cook vegan by experimenting and researching – her love of food was present every day.  She published a cookbook and ran a meal/food prep business called Ohhlicious.  She was named PETA’s It Girl in 2017.

Coaching Life

Michelle was a lifestyle and wellness coach while a vegan and vegan chef. She helped hundreds of people lose a significant amount of weight and transform their lives. She found that her clients where having incremental successes and she saw where transformation was not sustaining. The mindset piece was the missing link to sustaining good health and wellness. Where the mind goes, the body will follow.  She also knows that all results people where having are a direct refletion of what’s going on inside.  Until the inside changes, the outside does not change; therefore, people remain stuck.
